RYAN LOEB
USGTF Level III Member,
North Palm Beach, Florida

After graduating college from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in marketing, I worked for a short time in sales, and for an extended period of time in the restaurant industry. In 2006 I realized there was a need for a change in employment.

I wanted to choose a line of work that would be enjoyable to me for the rest of my life. This is when I turned to the game that taught me so much growing up and that I loved with a passion. I was referred to the USGTF from a friend of mine, Kevin Kern, head golf professional at Palm Beach Gardens Municipal. Mr. Kern offered my friend Jamey and I an option to start teaching on his range upon completion of the certification program. We both took the course and passed.

Now certified, I began teaching several different clinics at PBG Municipal, while also taking a job at Ibis Golf & Country Club in outside operations. After a year and a half at Ibis, I was offered an assistant professional position inside the golf shop. I happily accepted it and have never looked back.

Currently, I wear several hats here at Ibis. I am the tee-time coordinator, director of golf communications, and an assistant golf professional. The USGTF was the first step for me in what is sure to be a lifelong career in one of the best industries in the world.

Thank you USGTF. If you have any questions for me, please either call me at (561) 644-5807 or email me at rloeb@ibisgolf.com.
